Shaved/Polished Lenses
Following Gary's excelent inscructions, I shaved all the lettering off the plastic light covers/lenses all around the car. I couldn't find any plastic polish, so I had to do the best I could with find grit sandpaper, which did leave some fine scratches. Thankfully, they're only noticible if you look closely. It's mostly just a slightly foggy look. However, it's more than made up for by getting rid of those raised letters that gunk seems to accumulate on. Looks quite sharp.

At the 2001 Miata Club Christmas gathering, I won a bottle of Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Plastic Polish, which is what Gary used to finish up the lenses. Sometime when I have a few hours to kill, I'll finish the job properly.
