Painted Calipers
Working downtown here, I see an almost obscene number of Porsches on a daily basis. Those bright red calipers have had me jelous since day one. Not long ago, I put my car on stands for a week, disasembled all the calipers and caliper brackets from all the wheels, and proceded to clean and paint them "racing red". After five days of after-work work, and an entire weekend, she was off the jack stands and looking just as sharp as any Porsche on the road. The red calipers show nicely through my wheels.

It seems I didn't clean the brakes off well enough. The paint is coming off in a few spots. I don't know if I want to leave them, or give it a try again. Being without the car for a week was rather difficult.
