Every year, the Kelowna Miata Club hosts the Topless Sun Run, a weekend of frolicing in the nearly tropical Okanagan weather, with fellow Miata enthusiasts. It is a truly wonderful experience.

When I attended the event in 2001, I had only owned the car for about 6 months, and it was my first driving event. What a weekend. 104 Miatas gathered in the Sandman Inn parking lot by the end of Friday, and the weather looked excellent.
